  • Christmas Concerts

Wed 13 Dec 2017 Cheryl Steele

On 13th & 14th December, children across the school performed in their Christmas Concerts. Yet again, we were blown away by the amazing talents of your children – it keeps getting better every year doesn’t it. I would like to thank all of all pupils for their sheer determination to either perform in the concert or to prepare props, scenery and music – they made it a very special few days. Staff too worked exceptionally hard and our concerts further reminded us all of the importance of Christmas. Well done everyone!!

  • Projects at Rosehill School

Sat 09 Dec 2017 Cheryl Steele

Learning through real life experiences, meaningful and creative activities and developing a love for ‘wanting to know more’ is central to the education we provide at Rosehill School. In additional to the Enrichment Programme we offer, our School Curriculum regularly focuses on a project approach to learning. Please take a few minutes to look at some of our wonderful projects over the last year by following this link.

  • In the event of school closure due to snow

    Fri 08 Dec 2017

    Dear parents and carers,

In the event of school closure due to snow

It is very rare that school is closed due to snow or other adverse weather conditions but in this unlikely event, Rosehill School has put procedures in place to help keep parents and carers well informed.

In the event that school is closed, the relevant details will go directly to the Nottingham City Council. We also put the information onto:

    - The school website www.therosehillschool.com

    - Local radio will also pick up the news from our system – BBC Radio Nottingham

We also aim to use our text message system (school comms) which most parents and carers are signed up to. This provides you with a text message informing you about the situation.

We do appreciate that parents and carers need information as quickly as possible and we will do our very best to ensure that this happens. However, could I politely remind everyone that it will not be possible to contact the school office for information if school is closed.

Please assume that school is OPEN unless you hear otherwise from one of the official sources detailed above.

Many thanks to everyone for your ongoing support.

    Kind regards

    C Steele

    Acting Headteacher
