At the end of 2016 - 2017 I would like to commend our wonderful pupils, who between them have accomplished countless achievements. The 'Head teachers Gold Award' recognises those extra special successes for individual pupils who have worked exceptionally hard to perhaps; conquer a difficult challenge, learn new skills, persist in their goals, show compassion and care, or a learner that has created exceptional work. As you can see below, there were many more reasons as well last year. We are very proud of every pupil who attends Rosehill as each and everyone of our pupils makes life at Rosehill very special and they achieve so much, in so many different ways. Well done everyone!

We had the great pleasure of inviting all parents and carers to our Achievement Awards Assembly on Friday 14th July 2017. This event celebrated the exceptional performance of our pupils in the academic year 2016/17. We were joined by the Sheriff of Nottingham for this event, who presented awards to each child individually. in addition, three Special Recognition Awards were presented to one pupil from each department for their exceptional contribution to Rosehill School. The winners of 2016 - 2017 Rosehill Special Recognition Award were...... Cory, Austin and Rhys. Well done everyone - please see our photographs below.

14th July 2017 - This weeks Headteacher Gold Award winner is Cory for being an incredible inspiration to his peers. Well done Cory, we are very proud of you! 

13th July 2017 - Lord Mayor’s Awards recognise outstanding school attendance

Well done to Gabriel and Taonga who received 100% attendance awards at Harvey Hadden Sports Village for a special event to celebrate excellent attendance across the city. This is the fourth year that we have been involved in the Nottingham City Council's Lord Mayor’s Attendance Awards, which celebrate children who have clocked up a perfect 100% attendance. Around 100 pupils and their families attended the event on Thursday 13th July. Schools were invited to nominate two pupils to send to the celebration event. From Rosehill, there were many children who had achieved this status, so Gabriel and Taonga represented the school and came away with special awards. Well done to all our pupils who have achieved excellent attendance at their own personal level.

7th July 2017 - This weeks Headteacher Gold Award winner is Austin for exceptional progress in all subjects and for mature behaviour. Well done Austin, what a lovely achievement this is!  

30th June 2017 - This weeks Headteacher Gold Award winners are Holly and Je Michi

Holly, you are very kind and caring at school. Thank you for being a good role model for your friends! Je Michi, we are very proud of you - you have tried so hard this term, and you are very happy and kind. Well done

23rd June 2017 - This weeks Headteacher Gold Award goes to our Key Stage 2 Swimmers - Poppy, Tyrell, Holly, Lauren, Zain, Jabbar, Zeynep, Joshua, Riakgol, Tanaka, Krishan and Amin. All pupils really enjoyed the interactive sessions and have made great progress in swimming. We are very proud of you - you have tried so hard this term, Well done.

16th June 2017 - This weeks Headteacher Gold Award winner is Reuben for excellent work in Science. Reuben, we are very proud of you - you have tried so hard this term in science and you have learnt lots of new things, well done.

9th June 2017 - This weeks Gold Award winner is Charles for excellent art work - you have tried so hard this term in art, well done Charles.

26th May 2017 - This weeks Gold Award winner is Tobias for excellent independent work  in school - well done Tobias.

19th May 2017 - This weeks there is a Special Recognition Award for 2 pupils....

Aiden for following rules in class and on the mini bus especially, for wonderful speaking and for completing his work to a high standard. Dylan for his wonderful contribution to jobs around the school and for preparing so well for his leaving transition to his new school. Well done - we are very proud of you

24th March 2017 - Cheryl (Acting Headteacher), Christopher (Chair of Governors) and Kyfer (Ex-pupil/ member of the admin team) went around to each class to see the work they had done for the whole school science project and decided who would get 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
