Inflativerse at Rosehill
As part of our Lab_13 Science Project, we have been learning about Light and Dark. To support our topic, Nottingham University Students visited Rosehill school with an Inflativerse. (A Giant Dome which mimics the night's sky.). Pupils were encouraged to go inside and look at different star constellations. We really enjoyed this experience, especially crawling in and out the dark tunnel! Thank you to The University. of Nottingham for making this happen.
Paralympic Tour Rio 2016
We were privileged to be the first one of 100 schools chosen to participate in the Paralympic Rio Tour! We had an actual Paralympic Torch brought to our school that we got to see and touch! We also did some great activities about the history of the Paralympics! (News By Kyfer, Student).
Over the past few years we have been developing the use of Green Screen technology at our school. Here are just a couple of examples of the fantastic work we've produced so far.
The Queen's Long Reign
During the Autumn Term we embarked on a whole school project 'The Queen's Long Reign' which culminated in a celebration of Art, Dance and Music created by the pupils. The Queen wrote to us to thank us for our involvement in creating a huge sketchbook for her.
