As part of the statutory PE curriculum for Year 5, pupils are offered the opportunity to take part in swimming lessons at Victoria Leisure Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for pupils, enabling them:

- Improve their water confidence and this improvement can filter into other areas such as communication, social and life skills

Develop their water safety skills with the support of the class team and Swimming instructors
