• Deputy Head Visits Prime Minister

  Dear parents and carers,

   

  I am so pleased to announce that Claire Waldrom, Deputy Head at Rosehill attended a visit with the Prime Minister on Monday 21^st may in recognition of her outstanding contributions to education and for her ongoing dedication and commitment to supporting children and families in Nottingham City, for the last 37 years!

   

  As you can imagine, we are very proud of Claire, she is a true inspiration to us all, and we are all so pleased that she was asked to attend this amazing opportunity, recognising her outstanding contributions to education.

• Royal Wedding Day

  On Friday 18th May, we celebrated the wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry by having our very own Royal Wedding Day!

   

  We learnt all about the importance of the Royal Wedding and the British Monarchy by taking part in a variety of fun activities across the school day. This included a fun disco!

   

  Pupils came to school dressed as princes/princesses or in red, white & blue.

  General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

  As of 25th May 2018, the GDPR will replace the Data Protection Act 1998 –  this means the way in which Rosehill School manages data and information will change. The GDPR is designed to strengthen the safety and security of all data held within Rosehill, and will make sure procedures are consistent. It focusses on the privacy rights of individuals and the idea that everyone should know what data is held about them and how it is used. • Relationships and Sex Education Workshop

  Please join us for our next parents workshop on Friday 11th May @ 10-12 on RSE. This workshop has been designed in response to parents and carers feedback around requests for opportunities to discuss, explore and tackle issues relating to appropriate behaviours, inappropriate touch and puberty. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at this workshop.
