Return to School 3.9.20
Tue 01 Sep 2020Dear parents and carers,
I would like to thank you for your continued support throughout this unusual and challenging public health crisis, we are extremely proud of all our pupils, families and staff, and the way that the school community has supported one another at this time.
Although the school is operating a little differently at present, at Rosehill the pupils and their needs always come first! We have the highest aspirations for all learners who are able to enjoy learning in a safe and inclusive environment. We understand how important it is to work together as a community to help the pupils achieve their best in all aspects of school life. Therefore, we pride ourselves on providing a warm, happy and caring school environment, that is conducive to learning.
School reopens for pupils on Thursday 3rd September. Since March, we have worked hard as a school team to ensure that we have provided a safe environment for larger groups of children. We will be building on this experience as we open the school to all pupils this week and will endeavour to make the environment as familiar as possible whilst adhering to Government guidance.
As part of the in-depth planning process, we have carried out comprehensive risk assessments in line with Government guidance. Those risk assessments and the procedures related to them will be reviewed regularly in line with any new guidance. Information in my letter outlines the key changes incorporated into our risk assessment. Click Here to Read
Although these changes will make the school feel a little different, I hope that you agree that they make the very best of a challenging situation in the current circumstances, and enable all children to access a full curriculum on their return. When we receive further guidance or information then we will share this with you.
As always if, you have any questions or queries please do get in touch. I look forward to seeing your child very soon.
Best wishes
Cheryl Steele (Headteacher)
