COVID-19 Recovery Action Plan
We returned to school in September 2020, being fully opened for all pupils to return after the Coronavirus Lockdown (March 2020).
On our return, we needed to benchmark the pupils who required interventions to catch-up on their learning and adjust back into school life. We collated data on the following: -
- If they attended school at any time during the lockdown / if they had not attended school
- If they had engaged in Home Learning/ If they had not engaged in any school activities
- How they had returned to school in September 2020
Next, we analysed B-Squared and 10 Strands data from the last collection (Spring 2020).
Looking at the areas we were able to identify pupils who had not attended school, had not engaged in school learning, had not made any progress in the last collection of data and who have not adjusted back into school life.
A recovery plan was drawn up and interventions are now being put into place for these pupils.
