World Book Day 2022
On Thursday 3rd March children at Rosehill celebrated World Book Day on. They enjoyed book-related activities, competitions and visits from book characters (thanks to volunteers from Make a Smile Nottingham.)
To mark the 25th anniversary of Book Day, the theme this year was "You Are A Reader” and the day became a true celebration of reading and stories. Many children and staff came to school dressed up as book characters.
Prior to the day pupils took part in competitions which were judged by our governor, staff and pupils from the Student Council.
The winners of the competitions are:
Upper School:
1st prize – Ewan
2nd place – joint winners Tanaka and Lauren
3rd place – joint winners Eliakim, Sam and Anthony
Middle School:
1st prize – George
2nd place – joint winners Henock and Scarlett
3rd place – Natalia
Well done to all pupils who took part!
