Outstanding Ofsted Report – November 2017
Rosehill was last inspected by Ofsted in November 2017 and we received a very positive appraisal, highlighting the School as still being Outstanding. The report praised the well-mannered, polite and friendly pupils, all adults in school who strive to ensure that every pupil achieves, makes progress and attains the very best they can and the highly effective senior leadership team as well as the well informed governors.
It said: “Pupils’ engagement in their learning is consistently high. Their respect for each other and behaviour at different times of the school day are of a very high standard”. “Parents believe that pupils are well cared for and are safe because the staff take great care to help their children succeed”. “Staff are passionate about preparing pupils for their next steps in learning”. “Pupils’ voice is at the centre of decision-making”.
I am delighted and hugely thankful for our amazing children, our dedicated and professional staff, the support our parents and carers provide and the fabulous challenge and support our Governing Body have given us all. As a school with incredibly high expectations of everyone in our community we will not stand still and we will continue to drive forward to provide the best possible outcomes for all of our children. Above all else what we are most pleased about is that the inspectors saw that at the heart of everything we do as a school, is the determination to ensure that every pupil achieves their full potential, regardless of their starting point and this will remain our vision.
