In the Upper School, pupils are provided with a wide range of On-Site Work-Related Learning opportunities. Accessing these opportunities helps pupils to develop an understanding of the world of work, sense of responsibility and pride whilst engaging in meaningful tasks and activities which prepare pupils to the next steps of their career.
Some of Work-Related Learning opportunities are:
- The Rosehill Café;
- The Rosehill food delivery service;
- Social enterprise- raising money for charity, making and selling items, organising and leading special events at school- cinema days etc.;
- Jobs around school- recycling service, deliveries, office tasks e.g. shredding, printing/photocopying and laminating;
- The Rosehill mobile library service;
- Maintaining and organising play resources for primary department
- Animal care – caring for school fish.
