EHCP Review Co-Ordinator - 24th July 2024

I just wanted to say thank you so much to you Kate (Pupil Progress Co-ordinator) for all your hard work this year.  It feels like yesterday I came to meet you and we were both stepping into our new roles! We have now both done our first academic year and you really have been absolutely amazing, you are a star and so greatly appreciated!

Thank you to everyone involved in the review process, it really is a team effort!

Here to Help Fayre - 23rd May 2024

I just wanted to say thank you again for inviting me to your school to the "Here to Help" Fayre. It was really useful for information gathering.

What a lovely event - loved the children's interactions at school with their teachers. The choir...FAB!

Parent's Makaton Training - 23rd April 2024

Very informative. Learned a lot of signs - great session.

Training is good, helping me to know about Makaton.

I'm enjoying coming and learning new things about communication, especially as my child is non-verbal. It is very helpful and the staff explaining everything is amazing. Thank you.

Good fun with very good information.

Great session. I have learnt a lot to help my child. I will be doing this at home, thank you.

This session is fantastic and vital for us to communicate with our children with signs.

Was a really nice session.

I learnt new signs and refreshed knowledge. I enjoyed the Makaton training.

 

Parent's Open Event - 31st March 2024

Great show round - very informative. The provision sounds very bespoke and personalised for every child. Fantastic facilities.

Absolutely amazing and informative tour. Your children are very lucky to have you. I especially appreciated how special the children are to you. That's very important.

Parent's Coffee Morning & Educational Psychologist Workshop - 21st March 2024

Absolutely incredible visit and team. We are so thrilled to have been able to visit and share ideas.

The training is an eye opener! I really appreciate it and hope to see this type again soon.

Very educational and I learned a lot that I didn't know.

Really interesting talk by the Educational Psychologist. Very informative.

 

University of Nottingham Student placements - January 2024

I really enjoyed my placement week in Rosehill School. All staff members were very friendly and welcoming, making me feel like part of the community. I really enjoyed working with the pupils in class 8 and I feel I have learned lots of new teaching skills. 

Rosehill is so lovely and welcoming. The children are and staff are all amazing. My placement here was inspiring and I have learnt so much from all the staff. What an amazing school!

Rosehill has been a great experience. Very professional and I have learnt lots. Thank you!

 

Parents Evening – 31st January 2024

It was lovely & the staff were extremely accommodating. They were able to explain and break down everything they’re currently working on.

SCITT Training, hosted at Rosehill School - 23rd January 2024

Greeted with a smile and was delivered well organised, quality information on autism scaffolding.

Great breaking down of what the school stands for and what their aim is. 

This training was very useful to give me a better understanding of autism, sensory processing and scaffolding.

A really welcoming environment that has a clear vision for their children. Advocating for dignity, respect and love.

Rosehill has a lovely calm environment. I am really pleased you have hosted us! this session helped me learn lots of new information, which I am excited about implementing into my learning. Thank you!

Staff at Rosehill really projected a genuine desire to help us learn and encouraged us to come back if we needed anything.

Swimming Specialist at Nottingham City LA - March 2024 

Just a quick email to say that today's swimming lesson was the best SEND swimming lesson I have ever seen, your hard work and dedication is paying off, well done and an absolute joy to watch the engagement and enjoyment of lessons provided for pupils. The team of swimming teachers were absolutely fantastic, and guided, steered some really progressive teaching points, the lesson worked really well - absolutely fantastic!
