Welcome to our MILE (Multi Immersive Learning Environment)
The MILE is one of Rosehill School's most exciting and unique learning spaces. Designed to support multisensory and immersive learning, it provides pupils with opportunities to explore, interact and learn in creative and engaging ways.
Using state-of-the-art immersive technology, the MILE transforms learning by surrounding pupils with 360-degree images, sound and interactive experiences. Pupils can explore different places, cultures, historical events and environments without leaving school, bringing learning to life in a meaningful and memorable way.
The MILE is used across the curriculum to support communication, sensory development, wellbeing, independence and engagement. Whether pupils are exploring space, visiting the seaside, learning about nature or practising real-life skills, the environment can be adapted to meet their individual needs.
Fully inclusive and accessible, the MILE enables all pupils to learn, explore and interact in a way that is motivating, enjoyable and tailored to their strengths and interests.
The MILE is a valued part of our curriculum and helps ensure learning at Rosehill is engaging, inspiring and accessible for all.
