Religious Education (RE)

Parents and carers have the legal right to withdraw their child from all or part of Religious Education (RE). This right applies to all pupils, regardless of age.

If you are considering withdrawing your child from RE, we encourage you to discuss this with the school first so that we can explain the curriculum and answer any questions you may have.

Requests for withdrawal should be made in writing to the Headteacher. The school will make appropriate arrangements for the supervision of pupils who are withdrawn from all or part of RE lessons.
