School reopens for pupils on Wednesday 4th September 2024
Dear parents, carers and pupils,
A very warm welcome back for the start of a new school year, I hope that you have had a relaxing and enjoyable summer break.
A special welcome to new pupils, parents and staff to our school; I hope you will be very happy here.
I would like to say how pleased I am to be your Headteacher. This is a very special school and one which I feel extremely privileged to lead. As the Headteacher, I will always make time to talk with parents and carers, so please do not hesitate to contact me if you wish to discuss any issues or ask questions.
We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you (our parents) to ensure our pupils can achieve their highest potential. We recognise that to be successful in school, children need support from both home and school. We know a strong partnership with you will make a significant difference in your child’s education. As partners, we share the responsibility for our children’s success and want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities.
One of our goals for this year is: promoting high aspirations, positive attitudes to learning, excellent attendance, behaviour and conduct, and emotional wellbeing. We ask that you work together with us to help achieve the highest possible levels of success for all pupils. Further information can be found in our home school agreement regarding our partnership approach. (Please see copy below, also located in the front of your child's home school diary). Please read through the agreement, and complete the reply slip. We ask that you let us know if you have any questions or feedback.
We send regular Newsletters. Please ensure you read them carefully, so you are clear about the events taking place this term.
Finally, I would like to thank the Staff and Governors for their hard work and commitment to the school. I will continue to work closely with them, to ensure that your children receive the best possible education.
I look forward to seeing your child very soon.
