Class 12 pupils are supported by one teacher and five teaching assistants.
We are a class of 10 pupils aged 12-15 years old who enjoy exploring and learning together with our friends in class Union Jack!
Like the other classes at Rosehill we have a suite of rooms, each with a specific purpose:
Spring Term 2020
This term, upper school classes will be learning about Antarctica linked to the 200th anniversary of the discovery of the continent. We will be learning about weather and seasons and reading stories and non-fiction books about explorers.
In maths, we will be learning about shapes and time and learning to order events, seasons, times of day and to tell the time.
Our PE lessons will continue on a Tuesday afternoons so please don’t forget to send the PE kit. Our community skills sessions are on a Tuesday morning, so children need appropriate clothes for walking and outdoor activities. In addition to community skills pupils will be learning to use public transport and stay safe in the community as part of LIVE (Learning, interests, volunteering and enterprise.) Please make sure you send your child’s bus pass every Thursday. If you have not got a bus pass you will need to send money for bus fares for the term (£15) ASAP.
We have planned several exciting whole school events such as Antarctica show, World Book Day and many more. We are all looking forward to all the exciting events and learning this term.
