Staff Wellbeing

At Rosehill School, we recognise that staff wellbeing is essential to creating a positive, successful and inclusive school community. When staff feel supported, valued and able to maintain a healthy work-life balance, they are better placed to provide the highest quality education and care for our pupils.

We are committed to promoting the health, wellbeing and professional fulfilment of all staff. This includes fostering a supportive and respectful workplace culture, maintaining fair and manageable workloads, sharing information clearly and consistently, and providing high-quality training and professional development opportunities.

We understand that working in a specialist setting can be both rewarding and demanding. Therefore, we prioritise emotional and practical support, helping colleagues feel connected, supported and empowered in their roles.

To support wellbeing, staff have access to dedicated staffrooms across the school, wellbeing resources and information, and a range of wellbeing initiatives throughout the year.

By investing in staff wellbeing, we strengthen our ability to attract, retain and develop excellent staff, ensuring the very best outcomes for our pupils.

  • Staff Gold Awards
  • Wellbeing workshops
  • Breakfast club (half-termly)
