Home School Agreement

At Rosehill School, we believe that children and young people achieve their best when families, school staff and other professionals work together in partnership. As a Rights Respecting School, we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where every pupil can learn, grow and succeed.

Our Home-School Partnership Agreement reflects our shared commitment to:

  • Keeping children safe, happy and healthy
  • Promoting excellent attendance and engagement in learning
  • Developing positive relationships and behaviour
  • Encouraging independence and preparing pupils for adulthood
  • Respecting the rights, views and contributions of all members of our school community
  • Working together to achieve the very best outcomes for every pupil

The agreement is built around our school values:

Recognise our achievements and reach our potential.
Overcome barriers to learning.
Succeed in our aspirations and stay safe and healthy.
Enjoy school, have fun and build friendships.
Help and care for others and be active citizens.
Interact and communicate positively with others.
Learn well today and prepare for tomorrow.
Live fulfilling lives and look forward to the future.

The full agreement (see below) explains the responsibilities of the school, parents and carers, and pupils, helping us to maintain strong communication and positive partnerships that support learning, wellbeing and personal development.

We encourage all parents and carers to read the agreement carefully and discuss it with their child where appropriate. Thank you for your continued support in helping us create the best possible experience for every pupil at Rosehill School.
